The Horizon Line Series

Viewing the vast expanse of the horizon line while flying is a wonder. The thin line that vibrates the edge is the inspiration for this series.

As I work on these, I imagine myself flying over the edge to see what is one the other side. Of course that doesn’t happen, but the vastness continues moving below me.

That edge vibration is elusive — it must be luminous to draw the eye toward the great beyond. I will continue painting these; the challenge is as seductive as is the horizon line.
