Aircraft Portrait Commissions

Thank you for inquiring about a custom aircraft portrait. The process is simple and risk-free. The steps are outlined below, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me.

Step 1: Send Photos

Please e-mail your aircraft photos to Barbara@PlaneAirArt.com. I will review them and return a suggestion for the best format along with pricing information and estimated delivery time.

Step 2: Studies

I will forward compositional sketches for your selection. Once a sketch is selected, work commences.

Step 3: Work Commences

Depending on the size and complexity, a painting may take up to six weeks to finish. I’ll keep you posted on the timeline as the work proceeds.

Step 4: Approval, Payment and Delivery

When the painting is completed, I’ll ask for your approval. The painting will be available for purchase in the online store. If you decide for any reason not to purchase, the painting will be made available for purchase by other collectors.
